Portugal, no dia 25 de abril de 1974, derrubou uma ditadura e implementou uma democracia. Portanto, é uma grande ocasião para comemorar. No entanto, agora há uma grande polémica a respeito.
Alguns se opõem a celebrar da maneira tradicional, ou seja, na Assembleia da República, com muitas pessoas, devido à pandemia do COVID-19, enquanto outros dizem que devem comemorar, já que se de uma data muito especial.

O tema tornou-se democrático e constitucional desde que o Presidente da Assembleia da República, Ferro Rodrigues, disse que devemos comemorar o 25 de Abril mais do que nunca, porque "nenhuma alternativa antidemocrática resultará desta crise".

No entanto, a preocupação democrática é algo que vem surgindo no mundo devido à COVID-19.

Portugal, back in April 25 1974, overthrew a dictatorship and implemented a democracy. So it’s a big occasion to celebrate. However, now there is a big polemic regarding this.

Some are against celebrating in the way that has traditionally been, inside the Portuguese Parliament with a lot of people, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, while others say they must celebrate since is a very special date.

The topic became a democratic and constitutional one since the President of the Portuguese Parliament, Ferro Rodrigues, said that this is the time to celebrate it more than ever because "no antidemocratic alternatives will result from this crisis".

But the democratic concern is something that has been arising in the world due to COVID-19.
